"Art Realm -- Wang Jia's European Travels," the exhibition of a young Chinese artist's photographs and writings about Europe, opened to the public at the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Institution on Sunday.

Wang Jia, born in 1983 in Beijing, graduated from the U.K. University of Westminster with a master degree in Musical Commercial Management. He currently works as a curator at China's National Museum.

As the son of well-known Chinese artist Wang Mingming, Wang has been influenced by art and music since he was a little child. His exhibition is a selection of records made during his travels across art museums and areas in Germany, French and Italy. Through his lens, Wang has managed to paint a journey linking European artists, paintings, music, architecture, history and culture.

The exhibition will be closing on Jan. 27th, but the book "Art Realm -- Wang Jia's European Travels" was issued on Sunday. Wang said his exhibition and book are not only a recording and combination of his journeys through art, but also a discussion about the methods of educating art and his philosophy on how and where a man should be at the age of thirty.
