Afghan Army soldiers participate in a military training at a military training center in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, October 9, 2013. Afghan government and NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan (NTM-A) stepped up its efforts to train and equip Afghan police and army after NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) handed over the security responsibilities to Afghan security forces, which was part of a process through 2014 when Afghanistan would take over the full leadership of its own security duties.
