A security guard surnamed Song was arrested under suspicion of stealing baijiu (Chinese liquor), according to Xicheng district prosecutors Tuesday, the Legal Mirror reported.
Song, a supermarket security guard, stole the key to the alcohol storeroom, and then took a box of Maotai.
He sold each bottle for several hundreds of yuan, obtaining more than 10,000 yuan ($1,609).
