There are lots of people working in the mines, stone carving factories, and spall manufactories in southern Fujian, western Zhejiang and southern Xinjiang. They work overtimes and inhale a bulk of industrial dust every day.

These workers are the pillars of their family. For their family they have to bear 10 hours working time, heavy workload, low incomes, and polluted working environment harming their health.

In recent years, industrial dust problem has caught the State Environmental Protection Department’s attention to air pollution. Related factories have been ordered to cease producing and operation, and organized medical check and treatment to workers in most regions… However, to stop operation and protect workers from dust pollution won’t be easy in undeveloped regions because these factories are the financial forces there.

We deeply hope they are able to breathe clear air under blue sky.
