Senior Chinese legislator meets Lao National Assembly leader

BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Vice chairwoman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee Yan Junqi met with Pany Yathotou, president of the Laotian National Assembly here on Monday, according to the Standing Committee of the NPC, China's top legislature.

Leading a delegation of Lao's National Assembly members, Yathotou is paying an official visit to China from June 2 to 8 at the invitation of Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC.
