A variety of activities in the training enhance the team cohesion

The training helps upgrade trainees’ abilities

Thanks to the lecturers’ serious teaching and the trainees’ hard working, the training activities achieved good results. The student feedback forms showed that the participants of the first round training had a satisfaction rate of more than 98% on the course contents; the lecturer evaluation forms reflected a satisfaction rate of almost 100% on the lecturers. According to the comprehensive evaluation results, 26% of the trainees got an A, and 70% got a B, with the passing rate reaching 100%.

The training program was managed in a semi-closed militarized manner and the learning arrangement lasted from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm every day. In the training, the trainees kept a high morale, actively participating in classroom activities and enthusiastically interacting with each other, and thus won constant praises from the trainers for their enthusiastic attitude. Besides, they also showed excellent team spirit and solidarity in the training as group members were keen on helping each other out. The class committee also played an outstanding role in conducting communications in time and solving problems.

In order to better absorb new knowledge in such a compact curriculum, the learning team organized discussions after each evening’s lectures, recording their daily gains. During the training, lectures on Korean culture, Internet knowledge and its application, wine culture and other topics were also presented in the evenings, thus improving trainees’ knowledge level and appreciation capacity. Meanwhile, the team was asked to organize class activities in turns, so as to create an active learning atmosphere, enhance the trainees’ organizational capacity as well as increase the cohesion among the team members.

Yu Xiaowan, a trainee, said that the training made her fully aware of her responsibilities as a High-tech Zone employee in carrying forward the cause, promoting the new round of economic development and prosperity of the zone. Shang Wei, another trainee, wrote a poem after the training, in which he expressed his resolution to make contributions to the development of the zone: With the resolute determination to make contributions to the flourish of Xi’an High-tech Zone, we are happy to gather here at the fertile land beside the Fenghe River to take the training course. At the right moment after the zone has gone through more than two decades of ups and downs, we should keep in mind the instructions our predecessors have given, and join hands to forge ahead in building the zone into No.1 economic engine in the region.
