The training program has been constantly improved and injected new vitality into the zone.

During the training, the Human Development Institute drafted and improved a set of training management regulations, set up a self-management mechanism, worked out a training curriculum and a training manual, and took many practical measures like the student management and assessment methods, which not only effectively promoted the training work, but also laid down a solid foundation for the long-term institutionalization and standardization of the program.

On June 24, the First Summary Meeting on the New Employees Training of the Management Committee in the Human Development Institute was held, during which successful experiences and existing problems, class arrangements, as well as improvement plans in the later period were explored. Chen Hui, Vice Director of the Management Committee of the high-tech zone, and Wang Nong, Deputy Inspector of the Management Committee of the high-tech zone, spoke highly during the meeting of the achievements the Human Development Institute had made, and expressed their expectations that the Institute should comb and improve the training program based on the feedbacks from both trainees and lecturers, optimize the teaching resources, rationalize course arrangements, perfect the work attendance checking system and offer better teaching equipments, so as to draw lessons from the past, lift the teaching level and strengthen the training effects.

Based on the feedbacks from students and lecturers of the first round of training, the Human and Development Institute has adjusted the teaching system, improved teaching contents and optimized the curriculum plan for the second round of training with several courses of similar contents merged into one and new courses about environmental protection and music appreciation added into the curriculum. Besides, time arrangements are also changed, with the morning starting time of the second round of training made earlier (8:00 am), so as to give the lecturers more time to elaborate their experience and knowledge to trainees and enhance the teaching quality. Furthermore, the institute will continue to improve training facilities to provide students with a better learning environment.

Dedicated to the proposition that talents are the No.1 resource for the development, the Human Development Institute is bent on training more staff for Xi’an High-tech Zone in the future in order to emancipate their minds, broaden their horizons and enhance their work capacities. As the institute would bring up more innovative and learning-oriented management teams, the high-tech zone will enhance its competitiveness and realize the goal of building a world-class science and technology park, thus achieving leap-frog development in the new era on the new journey.
