Protect the environment and build a beautiful High-tech Zone with strong-handed management

Xi’an High-tech Zone convened a general meeting that summarized the management work, and carried out responsibilities of reducing pollution haze and city meticulous management.

In accordance with the policy decision and arrangement by the provincial and municipal party committee and government, and in order to improve the overall outlook and ecological environment of Xi’an High-tech Zone, the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone fully implemented every work requirement to concentrate on the specialized pollution treatment and made some achievements. Both the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of Xi’an High-tech Zone have paid high attention to the management work of reducing pollution haze and city meticulous management. Zhao Hongzhuan, member of the Municipal Standing Committee and the Secretary of Party Working Committee of Xi’an High-tech Zone, emphasized that “Reducing pollution haze and city meticulous management are important livelihood projects. Xi’an High-tech Zone shall initiatively carry out meticulous management in the city and overfulfil the yearly goals and tasks of reducing pollution haze. We will energetically carry out the city grid management to improve urban landscaping and focus on improving the project of illumination, thus making a breakthrough on the environment and image of the parks in Xi’an High-tech Zone”.

On July 5th, the government of Xi’an High-tech Zone held a general meeting of summarizing and carrying out responsibilities of reducing pollution haze and city meticulous management, in order to summarize the management work of city meticulous management and reducing pollution haze of Xi’an High-tech Zone in the past half year, aiming to solve existing practical problems and arrange work for next steps to enhance the effects apart from overfulfilling the yearly goals and tasks of reducing pollution haze and urban meticulous management. An Jianli, the Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee and Director of Management Committee of Xi’an High-tech Zone, demanded that each department of the Xi’an High-tech Zone government should place the work of carrying out responsibilities and ensuring effective results as the priority, keep up the good job and perform real practices and solid work, make efforts to accelerate the job of city meticulous management and reducing pollution haze, continuously improve the regional investment environment, enhance the city’s taste, reflect the management level, demonstrate the responsibilities Xi’an High-tech Zone has taken on, and fully fulfill every goal and task the municipal committee and government has assigned. He also demanded that the government should accomplish “three enhancements and three musts” in the following work to enhance the effects, which are respectively “to enhance one’s understanding, which means that one must do a good job in the city meticulous management like the situation in developing economy”; “to boost one’s confidence, which means that one must do his best to implement policies and focus on catching up with others to make sure to be the leading one; and “to improve one’s ideas, which means that one must ensure that Xi’an High-tech Zone takes the lead in all the work in the entire city with a good working mechanism”.

It is reported that the government of Xi’an High-tech Zone has issued the Work Program of City Meticulous Management and Enhancing the Effects of Important Tasks Including Reducing Pollution Haze and Interim Procedures of Supervision and Evaluation for Important Tasks, marking that the work of city meticulous management and reducing pollution haze in Xi’an High-tech Zone has reached a new level.
