World leaders, parties, organizations congratulate China on CPC congress (11)

The message added that Japan and China should respect each other and continually increase mutual understanding and mutual trust under the current circumstances, which would push the two toward solutions to problems.

Secretary general of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO), Tengku Adnan Bin Tengku Mansor, said in a congratulatory message that his party believed that the new leadership to be elected at the 18th CPC National Congress would steer China to a greater height toward sustaining the country as an economic giant in Asia.

The message added that the UMNO is willing to work together with the CPC toward the success of "The Asian Century."

Italy's Democratic Party National Secretary Pier Luigi Bersani said in a congratulatory message that China has played an important role on world arena in the recent 30 years, re-emerging as a driving force for world development and prosperity.

"China's fast growing economy and the ever bettering living conditions of thousands of millions of people have gained world admiration," the message said, adding the 18th CPC congress and the future of China concern not only the Chinese people, but people all over the world who love peace, social justice and freedom.

"A prosperous China presents opportunities for the whole world," it said.

The Central Committee of the Portuguese Communist Party, delivering brotherly regards and best wishes to CPC party members and all the Chinese people, said it wished China success in its cause of achieving social progress, building socialism and safeguarding peace.
