World leaders, parties, organizations congratulate China on CPC congress

BEIJING, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of countries, political parties and organizations across the globe have sent congratulatory messages to China on the ongoing 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is also leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, said in his message that the CPC with its solid faith, strict discipline and organizational efficiency, is a political model for others to learn from.

The CPC has mobilized tremendous forces since its founding and only a party like this can play a pivotal role in realizing national liberation, independence and development and in improving the well-being of her countrymen. He also lauded China's progress in modernization, economic growth and global status over the past decade.

Peruvian President Ollanta Humala, who is also the leader of the Peruvian Nationalist Party, said Peru has maintained a special friendly relationship with China.

He said the 18th CPC National Congress will not only plan for China's development, but also solidify the foundation of the new-type Peru-China mutually-beneficial and cooperative relations under the framework and the bilateral strategic partnership and free trade pact. He said he wishes the CPC national congress a full success and wants to further enhance bilateral ties.
